More than 20 University of Georgia employees from Human Resources and Finance and Administration recently received certification in Data Analysis and Decision Making for Government.
The Data Analysis and Decision Making for Government Certificate program is offered through the Georgia Data Innovation Hub, an initiative of the UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government. The program is designed to expand knowledge of data analytics fundamentals and helps participants stay on top of an ever-changing field. Through the 60-hour training program, participants learn how to effectively interpret, package, and present data to different decision makers with ease. This UGA cohort took part in training tailored to their roles at the university and conducted capstone projects aligned with their departments and areas of work.
